Mantels, floating shelves, accent walls, cabinet fronts, and textured siding, cut and finished at our own Rigby, Idaho mill and shipped to all 50 states.

Start with a sample

Tell us what you’re building and we’ll send species and pattern samples with pricing for your project.

Snake River Hardwoods runs custom wood projects from its own mill in Rigby, Idaho. Send a shop drawing or CAD spec and we mill to it, panel size, texture depth, and species called out to match your set. The facility cures, planes, molds, cuts, texture-mills, finishes, and packages hardwood to a project’s exact specifications, including full home packages built to a designer’s or architect’s plans.

The sample kit

Hold the texture before you spec it.

A physical sample set of T3D species and patterns, sent to your office or job site for $25 plus shipping. Request one through the form above and we’ll confirm availability when we reply.

What counts as a custom project

If it’s wood and it has a drawing, it’s a project.

Most custom work here falls into a few buckets. A floating mantel or shelf run in alder, poplar, white oak, walnut, or cherry. An accent wall or feature wall in T3D textured hardwood. Cabinet fronts in textured veneer with edgebanding to match. Exterior and interior siding in Weathered, Driftwood, or Milled patterns. And at the top end, a full home package cut to the architect’s plans, every panel and stick milled at one facility so the texture and species match across the whole build.

One mill doing all of it is the point. Timber is purchased by the board foot, then milled and texture-engineered at our own facility, so the mantel over your fireplace and the siding on your wall can come off the same floor, in the same species, with the same finish.

How it works

Sample, spec, mill, ship.

Start with a sample so you can hold the texture before you commit. Then send the drawing, or just the measurements if it’s a mantel or a shelf run. Material ships raw and ready to finish on site, or prefinished, stained, or painted at Rigby before it leaves. Homeowners can order shelf and mantel work directly. Contractors, designers, and builders get trade pricing, a price break applied at time of order or quote, with no credit account to open.

Request a sample or read the FAQ if you want the details first.
