T3D texture-engineered siding, architectural veneer, and matching edgebanding is machined into solid hardwood and hardwood veneer alike. Send a shop drawing or CAD spec and we mill to it, panel size, texture depth, and species called out to match your set.
Fire rating depends on assembly and finish. Send your project’s code requirement with a sample request and we’ll confirm rated options for that job before it goes into a spec document.
Every run is milled and texture-engineered at our own Rigby, Idaho facility, so the sample kit you request is the same standard the finished order ships on, not a showroom piece from a different supplier.
Vaultwood Core™, when the substrate matters.
Some Snake River Hardwoods engineered veneer products use Vaultwood Core™, a specified premium MDF core standard, as the substrate under the veneer. It’s not something we manufacture ourselves, it’s a third-party material standard we spec and buy to, used under select engineered veneer products, not universally.
Published figures: density 45 to 49 lb/ft³, modulus of rupture 4,500 to 5,500 psi typical (4,000 psi licensing floor) tested per ASTM D1037, face screw hold 275 to 350 lbf, edge screw withdrawal 225 to 285 lbf. Compliance covers ANSI A208.2 moisture and dimensional stability, plus EPA TSCA Title VI and CARB Phase 2 formaldehyde limits, with NAF options available. Full spec sheet at vaultwoodcore.com.

We buy timber by the board foot from trusted suppliers, then do the milling, texturing, sizing, and finishing ourselves at our own 22,500 square foot facility in Rigby, Idaho, on the Snake River. A Heesemann machine does the cross-scoring and texturing. A custom five-axis BAACI mill, built to our own specification, sizes, drills, and textures multiple pieces at once on a single line, which is what keeps a full run batch-matched instead of piece to piece.
