How Trade Pricing Works
Trade pricing is a price break, not a credit line. You pay at the time of order or at the time your quote is finalized. There is no application for terms, no net-30, no invoicing after delivery. We are a young company shipping to every state in the country, and we are not going to put a mechanic’s lien on a project three states away over an unpaid invoice. So we keep it simple: order or quote, price break applied, paid at that point, material ships.
If you are looking for a supplier who will carry your project on terms, we are not that supplier right now. If you are looking for real pricing that improves with volume and repeat business, paid the way a normal order gets paid, that is exactly what this is.
Trade pricing applies across the catalog: textured hardwood siding, architectural veneer, solid hardwood, and Ultra Shelf’s floating shelves, mantels, and bracket hardware. Volume and order history both factor into the price break. Ask for it when you request a quote or a spec sheet.
A Note on Ultra Shelf’s Own Trade Program
Ultra Shelf runs its own trade program, separate from Snake River Hardwoods’ trade pricing described above. It is an apply-online program with its own approval process, typically two to three days, its own trade discount, a personal Trade Concierge, and free shipping in the lower 48 on Ultra Shelf orders specifically. That program lives at Ultra Shelf's Trade Program and covers Ultra Shelf’s shelf, mantel, and bracket catalog.
Snake River Hardwoods’ own trade pricing, described above, is broader: it covers the full catalog, textured siding and veneer included, and it is the price break you get when you order or request a quote directly through us. If you only need Ultra Shelf product, their program may be the faster path. If your project needs siding, veneer, or solid hardwood alongside shelving, come to us directly.

Every board that carries the Snake River Hardwoods name is milled at our own facility in Rigby, Idaho, on the Snake River. Timber is purchased by the board foot from trusted suppliers, then milled and texture-engineered on our own floor. We are a processor, not a forest owner. Nobody here is cutting down a forest. We are the shop that takes good hardwood and turns it into siding, veneer, and solid stock that is ready to build with. Snake River Hardwoods is a Murphy Door® company, part of the same made-in-USA family that includes Murphy Door® hidden doors and Murphy Beds.
From that one mill, material ships to all fifty states, direct to job site. That is the whole model: made in one place, shipped everywhere, no regional distributor markup in between.
The Rockies Advantage: Fast Sampling, Fast Freight
Being based in Rigby, Idaho, in the Rockies, is not just a nice location story. It is a practical advantage for anyone specifying material on a real timeline.
Samples and spec sheets move fast because they come straight from the mill that makes the product, not through a distributor layer. When a project changes species or texture depth mid-spec, we are the ones running the material, so there is no middleman to wait on.
Freight runs the same way. Orders ship direct to job site from Rigby, not staged through regional warehouses. Exact transit times depend on destination and order size and are confirmed at quote, but the structural advantage is real: one mill, direct freight, no distributor hop.
That proximity advantage matters most on the projects where the building is hardest. High-altitude, low-humidity, freeze-thaw conditions in the mountain West are unforgiving on veneer and laminate, including engineered veneer over an engineered core like Vaultwood Core™. Material that holds up on a Teton Valley great room or a Park City ski-in remodel is proven under conditions most of the rest of the country never tests it against.
